The American Kennel Club announced 2022’s most popular dog breeds, and for the first time, the No. 1 spot goes to the French Bulldog! After 31 years of the Labrador Retriever as the most popular dog breed in America, last year’s No. 2-ranked dog breed takes the spot. But this isn’t the case in every city in the United States. In some places, the Frenchie has long reigned supreme, whereas others see the Lab still at the top.
